Do you remember the last time you received a card in the mail?
In a sea of junk mail and bills, a card is a simple thing that really stands out to the person who receives it. Sending a card is a small gesture that shows just how much you care about that special someone in your life. With World Card Making Day on 1 October, celebrate by making and sending a handmade card to someone who could use a little recognition, love, or just a boost (which is anyone, really!).

These are a couple of those I am sending out to friends just to let them know I am thinking of them.
These were inspired by Bibi Cameron in the UK - she has a video on her blog that you can watch to show you how to create your own version of these cards.

My favourite - Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay and a little Pacific Point.

This one has already left my hands and is on its way to a friend that has lost her mum.
