Stampin' Up! Perennial Birthday - CASE the catalogue Inksomniacs Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Inksomniacs Team blog hop. We all love the new Occasions Catalogue and each time we create or share something using the goodies from it we get excited - I have had a lot of my Stamping friends exclaim "oh I didn't really want that set before but wow now I need it! Have you ever heard the term "CASE" card? Wondered what it meant? It stands for "copy and share everything" and today we will show you how as we "CASE" the Catalogue for our hop.

Our Catalogues are a wonderful resource of great inspiration and ideas so today I have chosen to "CASE" the Occasions Catalogue page 17 where you will find the Perennial Birthday Stamp set. This set coordinates with the Perennial Birthday project kit but can also be used to make some lovely cards.

How beautiful are all 3 of those? Well since I am still loving Lemon Lime Twist today that card was the winner - I will admit I plan on making the others as well. I tweaked it just a smidge as its such a beautiful card as is.

This card has embossing, water colouring, stamping off, fussy cutting and pen flicking techniques on it so was a heap of fun to do. All the flowers are embossed using Versamark, Memento stamp then clear embossing powder - you can see more about how to do this HERE.
Pen flicking is random and fun but very messy so make sure there's nothing close you don't want splatters on! You need the Marker from the sets as you need the brush end to flick it easily.
The lemon Lime Twist colour around the flower group is done using a dauber but the rest of the colour is applied using the Aqua pens. Happy Birthday is stamped off first to make it more subtle. the pink flower and leaf combo is popped up on dimensionals.

Now we are off to visit Tanya to see what goodies she has CASEd using the Picture Perfect Party Suite for this hop.

Stampin’ Up! Merry Mistletoe - Christmas in January

A quick share today of my first Christmas card for the year!

Each month my Stamp A Stack group makes 2 Christmas cards for their stash to take a little pressure off at the end of the year. I need about 120 cards at Christmas so it’s great to be working towards that early.

I love the Merry Mistletoe Stamp Set from the annual catalogue especially since it coordinates perfectly with the Be Merry DSP! The Cherry Cobbler double-stitched ribbon and gold go perfectly with the DSP as well.
This is the inside of my card.

Stampin' Up! Party Pandas SBTD January Saleabration Blog Hop

Welcome to our monthly SBTD Blog Hop - did you love Lindsay's  Cake-Soiree-Birthday-Card as much as I did? If you have hopped on over from Lindsay's Blog in Colorado - well welcome to the sunny Australian summer time here! This month we are celebrating Saleabration and my friends have fallen in love with all the new goodies in both the Occasions Catalogue and SAB one.

I love the Party Pandas and needed a project for my stamp club. They also wanted to use the Mini Pizza boxes that have carried over from the Christmas catalogue. I pulled out some of the new DSP for this project and the 3x3 envelopes. The shopping list is below but you can easily swap out the papers and colours to make your own.

The Pizza Boxes easily hold 4 cards and envelopes - I actually could have got another 2 in the box as the layers are not thick on my card fronts. Thank you for visiting me and lets go back across the globe you go to visit Tashana and see she loves in the new catalogues. Click on the next button to hop along or visit anyone in the hop using the names below.

Epic Celebrations with Brusho

I loved playing with the Brusho so much I continued to play - This card was made using the Brusho as a watercolour wash over images stamped and embossed using white embossing powder.

I was playing with the Prussian Blue mixed with water - I use my largest clear block like a palette - added a sprinkle of Brilliant Red to change the colour up a bit and tadah!

Shopping list - Note the Stamp Set Epic Celebrations is FREE with a qualifying purchase during Sale-A-Bration 2018
