Mistletoe Season & Painted Harvest Stampin' Up! Christmas

Each month I hold a Stamp A Stack at my local Cake store - not only do they have huge tables, great coffee and amazing supper but wow it smells divine just hanging out there.
How it works at my Stamp A Stack is - everyone that comes pays a fee to make 6 cards - 3 designs but 2 of each card. One of the designs is a Christmas card.

This is the card we did this month - an old favourite of mine Painted Harvest teamed up with a new colour combination and a new Christmas Stamp set Mistletoe Season. I just love that font!

The wreath is stamped in Granny Apple Green for the base colour then Tranquil Tide for the second stamp that gives this image shape and definition. The berries and font are in real red.

I used my Stamparatus for this card but you could use blocks if you prefer - I will give you the heads up though - once you start using the Stamparatus you will love it. I could make a heap of these quickly and easily - this will be perfect for my works Christmas cards!

Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! June Blog Hop.

Welcome to the first Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Design Team Blog hop.
A new catalogue has so many wonderful things in it but this one is extra special - we have had a colour revamp and welcomed 16 new and returning colours plus a new set of Incolors to our range. Some of the colours even moved families!

We wanted to have a look at some of the new colours on this hop with a splash of black and white.
I though it was a perfect time to introduce myself and my family. I'm an Australian Demonstrator and my initial passion was scrapbooking - I love that everything Coordinates perfectly! The tall Dude is my Hubby Tony and together we have 3 young ladies in our family, Eilish, Maeve and Tara.

I have use the new Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper that features some favourite colours of mine plus some new ones. Its a 12x12 pack so its great for backgrounds and full page scrapping.
The colours that coordinate with this pack are Grey Granite, Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White. Its part of the Twinkle Twinkle suite as is the divine Petal Pink / silver bakers twine.

I used the Night of Navy marker to faux stitch the centre piece of DSP. you will also note my photos have had the edges distressed - I used a nail file to do this.

The suite is lovely and will be a great addition to your collection - I look forward to spending more time with it.

Thank you for joining me please hop on over to Danielle's Post to se the page she has to share with you by clicking the next button below.

All about the Kids - SBTD June Blog Hop

What a wonderful new catalogue with so many great new goodies to fall in love with! I would have to say it has so far been the busiest catalogue releases since I signed as a demonstrator! Welcome to the June Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop so glad you could join us for this celebration of all things kids.

My kids are adolescents and young ladies so their tastes are maturing as far as the cards they are happy to snitch from my box and gift.

I had to get this stamp set because I fell in love with the card in the catalogue and I wanted to recreate it with my friends. How does it fit into the 'kids' theme? Well I have now made 6 because my kids love the card and want some for their friends birthdays.

I will admit I am rather partial to balloons - there is even a category here on my blog for cards that contain balloons. This set has matching framelits even the balloon has one with its string included in the framelit.

Thanks for popping in - I'm looking forward to spending more time with this set - you should see the cool candles in it! Now lets pop on over to Tashana's Blog and check out her "Postcard Pals' - This set is high on my wish list - need to do an extra shift at the hospital for some more spending money I think!

Stampin' Up! Stamparatus Fun

The time has come that everyone can get their hot little hands on their own Stamparatus - have you got yours yet?

This is A must-have tool for all stampers, the Stamparatus helps you perfectly align stamp images, stamp multiples of the same project quickly and precisely, and get complete ink coverage.

Think about how much easier 3 step stamping with Photopolymer stamps is going to be - check out Baby Bear below - I know so many stamping friends that feared this bear!

It was created by stampers for stampers, so it has all the features you want:

Compatible with red rubber and photopolymer stamps
2 magnets to hold the paper in place
Rulers on 2 sides for quick measuring
2 open sides so you can use larger paper
Multiple hinges for more placement options
2 reversible plates for 4 sides to work with
1 foam mat for use with photopolymer
1 base with grid
Magnet storage areas

I love the Hand Delivered Hostess set - this stamp set is perfect for use in the Stamparatus - that poster board fits so many stamps throughout the catalogue - use the plastic with it printed on it that comes in the stamp case to check.

Here is what Stampin' Up! have to say about the Stamparatus.
