Party On because it's your Birthday!

Its Your Birthday its time to Party and this party calls for some Soft Sky with a hint of Blushing Bride with bling!

The DSP is again from the Falling In Love DSP but this recipient loves blues hence the focus on Soft Sky.
I trimmed up the Balloon Pop-Up and the banner that has Party On! written on it I fussy cut. The sentiments are stamped in Basic Grey to keep with the softness.

You will need these items along with your regular tools.

Seaside Shore - Fishy Wishes

I love this set - Seaside Shore it is just perfect for my brothers birthday that's coming up. He has always had tropical fish tanks and snakes. The snakes do not interest me in anyway what so ever but I could sit and watch the fish forever.

This a great card that I did in prep for his birthday. The plan is to be a little organised this year. A friend popped over with a photo off Pinterest of a Fish card she just had to make as a Thank You card. So we crafted together and this is where I landed.

So how did I get the background you ask? The Watercolor Wash background stamp came in handy with a little of the sponge roller over the top.
The fish and weeds were all fussy cut! Lucky our snips are good they make it quicker and much easier I must say. Some of the fish in the background are cut from the By the Shore Designer Series Paper fishy piece. The fish were all Wink of Stella coated as well so its just so pretty!
The wave for the Z-fold is from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits - fold it in half and don't put the fold right up to the edge to get the continuous piece in one go.

Happy Stampin' Fishy friends.
Along with my Basic kit of goodies I used these items.

Balloon Adventure in Sweet Sugarplum

Balloon Adventures is out on my desk again this time with my little niece in mind. Her favourite colour is pink and she loves butterflies.

I used the thinlit to punch out of the butterfly DSP a single balloon - turned it into a shaker using the dots from the silver glimmer balloon.
The DSP is from the Falling In Love Suite on page 50. Oh my gosh it is so much better in real life so do yourself a favour and get in touch with your demonstrator so you can see this for real.

To make this you will need these goodies.

Lift Me Up Birthday Surprise

I love the variety of Balloon stamps on offer in both the Occasion and Annual Catalogues.
What a wonderful addition to our regular everyday balloons - the Hot Air Variety!
Its been my Mother In-laws birthday and I will admit I do like to do things a little different for her.
I have had this set since Pre-order but had not had a chance to play with it.

So this stamp set is called Lift Me Up and the Coordinating Thinlits are Up & Away Thinlit Dies.
They are great on their own but the bomb together!
Best bit - there is a Bundle and save option called the Lift Me Up Bundle saving you 10% in the Australian Catalogue its on page 10. It's a bit hard to see and of course much prettier in real life but that sparkly glimmer balloon is just divine.

The stamps are Red Rubber and available in wood or Clear with 16 stamps in the set. The Thinlits come in a set of 15. Can I recommend the Die Brush for this set (pg 190 Annual Catalogue) it makes getting that divine balloon out of the thinlit so much easier!

I only had kiddy paper at home in my stash so out cam the brown paper to decorate - I think it matches well don't you?

I didn't have any of the new ribbon but because of my colour combo - Succulent Garden 3/8" Ribbon Combo would have worked well with this - I used the now retired Sweet Sugarplum glitter ribbon.
See more on the Stampin' Up! YouTube Channel - Lift Me Up & Away
If you get the clear set of stamps the suggested acrylic blocks are a, b, c, g and h.

Bonus - if you get the Wood bundle you will be eligible for a FREE Sale-A-Bration item and there's the best paper that coordinates with this set available.
