Blooms and Wishes Especially For You

Since I had the Blooms & Wishes stamp set I decided I needed to use it more - I loved it as the One Sheet Wonder that I did with my Stamp Club and sat thinking why didn't I get this one right at the start of the catalogue? Oh that's correct I bought a heap of other great goodies!

How pretty is that? The flowers are beautiful it is actually a very versatile set. I will pop a link below with all the items I used but the main flower colour is Peekaboo Peach, what I found interesting though is the cardstock boarder you see is actually Pumpkin Pie because it just didn't work the other way around. The Peekaboo Peach boarder was to pale and if I stamped in Pumpkin Pie it was way to dark for the look I was trying to achieve. The green is Old Olive - one of my most favourite colours.
There is a little Flirty Flamingo stamped off as highlights, the Old Olive is both solid and stamped off and can you see the Chocolate chip centres in the flower - they are stamped off as well.

The BOW - how does one tie a perfect bow? Well this is how I do mine thanks YouTube - sorry no video from me but the photos will give a good idea.

I leave the ribbon attached to save on ribbon and I can cut it without any wastage.

Slip the ribbon off the block and you have a big loop, work out where you want the bow to sit on your card prior to cutting the loop. Cut the loop with enough ribbon to wrap around your card on each side.

    1. Yes Cindy - you will never tie bows any other way after you have tried this one! I have also tied them around thick markers, my multipurpose glue - anything solid really. It has saved me tearing and curling my card many a time now.

    1. Thanks Kimberly - you will never tie bows any other way after you have tried this one! Give thick markers, multipurpose glue, anything solid really a try for different size lengths to wrap around your cards. It has saved me tearing and curling my card many a time now.
