A Bag, a box and a card with a matching envelope.

The greeting card with a envelope made on the Gift Bag Punch Board and a belly band to hold it all together.

This bag was made using a 12 x 9 piece of cardstock and the Large bag markings on the punch board. The top is folded over the width of the score line from the punch board.

A little gift box using the medium score line on the punch board.

These gift bags are made using the new In Colours, The Neutrals DSP and the Gift Bag Punch Board. You can see Small Medium and Large large bags then their bases.

Punch board addition

There is a newbie on the horizon.

We love our Envelope punch board and Gift box punch board so I excited to say there is a new addition to this wonderful family. You read my previous post about pre-order well I got my hands on the new Gift Bag punch board because of this.
My little Miss 10 had a birthday party at the local cake decorating shop - I love the options for kids parties these days. In my day (oh boy I sound like my Nan) we had a pool party for summer birthdays or a movie night for winter parties not any of this cool stuff my kids have been invited to.
Back to it - I thought a cup cake decorating party needed a cupcake card - score with the new Sprinkles of Life Stamp set. I also needed to wrap the present in this case a pretty necklace and earrings. So out came some of the DSP from Sale-A-Bration (SAB will be back next January) as this little lady likes pale pinks and blues.

You can find more inspiration for this stamp set on Pinterest - I have a board full of cute ideas to inspire you.
This used the new stamp set, the Envelope punch Board and the new Gift Bag punch board.
This bag is the large so cut 12x8 and I scored about 2 inches along one long side so it could be folded over to give the decorative feature of complimenting colour.

I will do more with the punch board over the next week or so and share the cool things I discover.

Convention 2015

My What a wonderful 3 days of Inspire Create Share Convention 2015.
To say I've had a ball is an understatement.

A picture tells a thousand words so here are some of my favourite photos.

The beautiful Gold Coast Australia showed us a years worth of weather over the 3 days including a Cyclone - man after the last few weeks at home I felt a bit like a storm chaser.

My hotel view day one! Man did that change over the 3 days.

Day 2 before the storm hit

My Share offering.

Some of the great trades I scored myself!

Some wonderful new goodies to look forward to -

Make and Takes - a big part of Convention.

A photo opportunity and a chance to rub shoulders of those we talk to (sometimes on a regular basis other times once a year)

Beautiful Claire from Demonstrator Support Australia.

One of my favourite presenters Bonnie from the USA

A New Catalogue- yay.

ANZAC Day 2015

100 years
Remembering those that fought for our freedom today.
#ANZAC Day #gosfordpoppyproject

30000 poppies still look amazing even after the dreadful week of weather we have had.

My poppy on my work uniform. Hand made using red wool felt. The petals were made using a heart shape with the bottom point cut off. I then did a running stitch with double tread along all 4 petals to join them together. Pull the running stitch tight, knot off then join the first and last petal together, stitch them tight. I did stitch up each petal about 1cm to make them sit where I wanted. Attach a black button for the center. This one I pinned to my top but a broach back finding would have been good.

Retirement list specials

The retirement list is up - it hit the Internet at the same time as my home got hit with a whoppa of a storm. I sitting at the loca club after 3 days without power, water, phone or Internet. We charged our devices at a friends each night as they fed watered and let us shower. The coming together of neighbours has been a blessing.

I got all my swaps finished by torchlight for the up coming convention and will reveal them then (it's to wet to even get a decent photo outside)
Here is a little sneak peak.

The retirement list, weekly specials and all Stampin Up goodies can be found here. http://bagsthatone.stampinup.net/

A few picks from my yard.

This would normall have me stressed out but not last night - power up my lovelies!

Convention prep and excitement

As we get closer to the end of the catalogue year, Stampin' Up! is getting ready to retire stamps and accessories from the 2014-2015 annual catalogue. Don't worry, though you will have the opportunity to order retiring products at discounted prices (up to 50 percent off retail) before they're gone. Start evaluating your current inventory and get ready as the retired list goes live on 21 April. I will be home after lunch as I am on canteen duty so will post the list then. You can pop into the online store earlier if you don't want to miss out on anything as once they are gone that's it. My suggestion create your list now, go to the store and create an account  so all you have to do on the day is sign in and shop.

Just prior to the new yearly catalogue coming out we have the Stampin' up! Convention one of the things we do are swaps. Swaps are a card from or 3D item made with all current product (however many you want in this case) that you make to swap with the other Demos so that you can get some inspiration. It is fun chatting to everyone about their sws and a great way to meet new people.

This bundle of flowers looks like a beautiful example of some DSP but it's not each flower has been stamped, punched and sponged.
The stamp set this beauty is from is called Beautiful Bunch and they are stamped in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Choosing my colours was assisted by my Color Coach.

More photos to come so check back soon.
Happy stamping.

Beautiful butterflies

Just a quick pop in and share of a butterfly card this week.
It seems that Bermuda Bay is the colour I go to most.
Here it is again. I cut the scallop thinlit in vellum and used it as a mask to colour the background just a little.

A perfect week.

Just popped in to show my followers the weekly deals this week. Why is that so important well the magnetic platform is on the weekly deals list. 25% off that is a bargain! Teamed up with some great framelits and punches this week is great.

I made this with Shrinky Dinks and the fun flower punch on this weeks specials. The baby onesies and toy are from the Something for Baby Framelits.

Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

I have a hostess code for April as well so before you check out please check your cart and pop the code in the bottom it will say I'm the hostess but I am planning on doing a mystery hostess thingy if I get to $400 in sales. Code RG4PZ7D9.

If you want to take part in the mystery hostess event please do not hit the no contact button - it makes it so I cant send you your goodies if you are drawn out.

Here is a card to share that uses the wedding set 'Your Perfect Day' used to make a baby card. Just because stamp sets are made for a particular occasion doesn't mean that's all they can be used for.

Happy crafting
