Grab 5 - Grab 5 items from your Stampin' Up! Stash for the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop June 2021

Welcome to this months theme - and I am the owner of this months one. I picked this because I love the inspiration of the internet and converting other brand dominant themes or pages to Stampin' Up! with my twist. I love Inky Quill and her videos on YouTube - she is who I think of when I say Grab 5.
We all have a stash - leftovers purchased for another project, or things we couldn't resist when we saw them. The idea behind this theme was to grab the goodies from your stash not go shopping for what was on the list.

So this is my page - I will admit I purchased the new Expressions in Ink Suite for another project - actually a class i have coming up - well I love love love the DSP it is perfect for scrap pages. Who said school photos can't be pretty and not really 'schooly' looking? I am so far behind on school scrapping, I guess because they are the same old same old green and gold pages with those being the school colours for all 13 years! and I have to triple it with 3 kids going through the same schools.

I took some progress shots as a video was not on the cards for this one. The Lined Alphabet stamp - well it has retired but it is great for school pages so I used it with my Stamparatus for some added depth to the already fab background.

I made some of my own Die Cut Embellishments with the Artistically Inked Stamp & Die bundle to make it pretty. Heads up I didn't like the colour I stamped of the leaves so I just stamped over them in Shaded Spruce for a more dark green colour. I also stamped a heap of flowers then I could pick and choose what I wanted to use.

The title was cut in chipboard that comes with our specialty DSP as support - it is great I use it for heaps of things and titles is one. I coated the title with Versa Mark dipped it in heat & Stick powder then Gold Gilded it - let me say never again! On a card it is beautiful and easy - this was not easy it was not fun lol. But it looks great!

Some close up shots for you - I have also used the Expressions in Ink Ephemera pack from the Suite - note the little gold lines under the phots they are the waste bit from a frame. The gems I have used are the Genial Gems I had leftover from last months class.
