Mood Board Inspiration Scrapbook Page - March 21 SCRAPBOOKING GLOBAL BLOG HOP

Welcome to this months blog hop - the 3rd one for the year and with this one we have an inspirational mood board. The board below will inspire everyone differently - the colours were not something I had a photo for but well the Lippy! Sharon has set the challenge this month so I am keen to see what she has to share but for now lets have a look at mine.

Pulling the lipstick as my feature from the board was perfect for this page of my daughter. I love the quote I love the colours on the board but my photos on this years to-do list only fit because of that lipstick!. Tara my youngest is as bold as a badger and shows up to school with earmuffs everyday - not normal boring earmuffs but ones that have the faces of a Scottish Highland Cow head on each side. December saw the addition of a Santa hat, Clip on Antlers then baubles attached to the horns of the beasts.

The cow image is from the retired Yuletide Pasture set - apparently this set is not allowed inti my de-stash draw according to my daughter. The title is a combo of Ridiculously Awesome - I used the Stamparatus so I could colour the parts of the sentiment I wanted only, and our Playful Alphabet Dies.
The Lippy - well it's from Dressed to Impress and I cut 5 layers to stick together for the raised effect. The red messy circles were made using a marker and just scribbling around the inside of my tape - heaps of times.

The Cow and lippy have been coloured with our Stampin' Blends. The Background stamp set is Comfort & Hope with shading created using the blending brushes.

Thanks for hopping with me I am looking forward to where the mood board takes everyone else - hopefully I am not the only one that has strayed way off track from it. Let's head on down and across a little to South Australia to see what the lovely Sharni has to share with us.

Just Beautiful, Bingo Scrapbook page - February 21 Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop

Welcome to Februarys Scrapbooking Global hop - This one is the brain child of Sherry Roth. So lets play! Up or down across or even diagonal we got to choose our line - I decided after a load of toooing and froooing (are they even real words - possibly but without all the ooos) that the right hand straight down the side was for me.

So I have sponged the edges of my 3 + different papers and my Black & White photo. I really didn't want to take away to much from the DSP (Designer Series Paper) as it is really pretty especially with the acetate over it.
I would possibly have stuck with the one black and white photo but the line required 2 photos hence the add of the smaller coloured one and I love how it turned out.

I found the Take Your Pick Tool made sticking the letters down so much easier. I used the Foam adhesive sheets added to the back of Night of Navy cardstock to give the letters a popped up even look.

I just love this DSP! They say a picture tells a thousand words well I needed a few pictures to get mine across here. The Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate has a protective backing on it that makes it look a little cloudy - it needs removing to make it more WOW but also adhere properly. The coating is on the silver side and below starts my series of getting it to lift up at the edge as easy as possible. Some times its like a Band-Aid - getting it started is the hardest part when it comes to removing it!

I have kept this page very simple with minimal added - actually no real extra embellishments. The title is our Playful Alphabet with just her name for the same reason - the paper is doing all the work.

Thanks again for hopping with us this month I hope you find some great inspiration for your pages amongst the hop participants. Now you are hopping over to Sara to see what she has to share with us this month.

Ice Cream Corner Suite DSP - Thank You

The Catalogue has a huge variety of examples so why not use them as inspiration or even copy them straight out of the catalogue with a tweak or not! (We call it a CASE - copy and share everything) I just love the Ice Cream Corner Suite so here is another card made using it! Plus I am not afraid to say there will be plenty more!

So you think you have seen it before - well check out the South Pacific Stampin' Up! January -June mini catalogue page 48. But for now here is a video of the process.

And here is an alternative for a Thank You card using the Happy Birthday sentiment in the set.

This photo below will take you to another Ice Cream card made using the same suite.
