Just Me - Scrap yourself Challenge - January 21 Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop

Welcome to this months hop where we have the challenge to scrap ourselves. Hands up who is guilty of scrapping everyone else and forgetting about yourself - I know I am, well that is if it is just a photo of me? So thanks to the lovely Maï Chapelain for making me shift into gear and actually do it. So here is my page that is well - Just Me.

A few close up photos of the page elements. I used a range of DSP packets to get the colour combination I wanted and when I realise I wanted something different I pulled out the Stamparatus, stamps, ink and paper (see the stripe - Pattern Play). 'This is' can be found in Thanksgiving and Christmas from Word Wishes Dies with a little chopping. The background stamping is thanks to the lovely Very Versailles wiped with a Water Painter after stamping.

 

The floral flourish is thanks to the  Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty paper combined with leftover pieces from the Paper Pumpkin Joy to the World kit.

Stampin' Up! Stacked Ice Cream Card CASE

 

I just love the Ice Cream Corner Suite featured in the January - June Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up! I decided to start playing with the suite to show you how easy it is to make cards using our catalogue as inspiration. 

Below is the video I recorded of me making this card - sorry in advance about the noisy Cicadas they are so loud at the moment even with the house all closed up.

Stampin' Up! Cherish the Season Christmas Scrapbook Page

All products are Stampin' Up! aside of the black thickers.

The brief was "Grab 5" we had to use the 5 items listed on the brief.

I have used the Cherish the Season Bundle (155154) Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack (150647) T'is the Season 6x6 Designer Series Paper (153489) Wonder of the Season Memories & More Card Pack (153538) Ink colour Shaded Spruce, Old Olive and some Sahara Sand

Oh and one must not forget my Wink of Stella for a little extra sparkle.

A festive scrap page for a festive time of the year. Who else trys to use their 6x6 DSP on a 12x12 page?

  

This is just a quick share and below there is also a video in speedy form of how I this page came to life. Don't have thickers but want some you will also see how I make my own. This page was created using a scrapbook sketch as a guide.

To a Wild Rose Stampin' Up! Card for a friend.

A quick and pretty card for a friend just to say hi I am thinking of you.  

Using the Scripty embossing folder gives this white background a beautiful lift and pretty texture. 

This card started as a challenge - I popped up 2 colour combinations on my Facebook page then made a crd based on the colour combo that had the most votes. 

The pallet Shaded Spruce, Merry Merlot and Pool Party.

Using the Stamparatus makes 2 step or 3 step stamping easier. I applied the colour with my sponge rollers for the pale petals with great results.
