Sketch Challenge: Scrapbooking Global February 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to this months hop with Scrapbookers from all over the world. This month we are working with a sketch so I am looking forward to seeing what everyone does with it. Below is our sketch that Sharon has chosen to be our inspiration. Not only did I have fun drawing up her sketch for her but then I had a heap of fun working on my layers for it. If you are already hopping along - welcome to the other side of the globe from Maï's blog.

This is my page - it was a difficult one for me to scrap this month with loosing this fur baby still very raw. I was looking through photos for my kids as they wanted them for their pin boards in their rooms and though this photo would be perfect although I did also have another in mind.

Briefly - the colour wash on the designer series paper cam from Petal Pink re-inker mixed with a little alcohol then spritzed onto the area I wanted the colour.
I used Very Versailles to stamp the script in Sahara Sand and the petal pink row of 'lace'.
The Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon I heated with the heat gun to make it crinkle - careful you don't burn holes though.
My title is cut from the grey board that comes with the specialty DSP to support and protect it. I then inked it up with Versamak and embossed it with black embossing powder. It's such an easy way to get a striking glossy title.

Want to see me in super speedy mode create this page? Here is the video I took whilst creating - the actual page took me just over 90 minutes without my original planning.

Please feel free to leave a comment below as I'd love to know what you think. Now lets hop on over to see what Cheryl has to share with us and her take on this sketch.
