Floral Scrapping with The Scrapbooking Global Group.

Wow so many lovely creative floral pages on this hop - now I believe its my turn to impress you well try anyway. This page features photos that are a few years old but had never made it into an album. I am not usually a florally sort of scrapper and 'pink' is so not my colour. I felt that I didn't really have any photos that I felt I could use for this theme but how wrong could I be! Printed in Black and white I found it so much easier to bring it all together. Actually based on what they were all wearing the only way I felt they could go on a page together was in black and white.
I have used the elements, watercolour pencils and stamps from the Lots of Happy Card Kit as my main focus for this page.

To make the flower wreath I used a side plate and fine pencil to draw a circle then stamped over its edge all the way around. I then used the same plate to cut around for my middle circle. The stamp set has 2 floral images in it and I used those to also make some accents and fussy cut them.

The velum leaf accents are those from the kit but they have been coloured using the sponge brayer with Pear Pizzazz ink for that hint of extra colour.
The copper elements are not from the kit but I felt it needed lifting and I had to tie a title in somehow.

I have added some stitching on my sewing machine - I actually aimed for messy stitching - I find it difficult to do though as it goes against my grain. I use the biggest stitch my machine does as I like the look of further apart holes. The circle in the middle was plain whisper white cardstock - I have used a decorative piece from the Happiness Blooms Memories & More packet as a mask with the sponge brayers for a little visual texture.

This is the included photopolymer stamp set. The sentiments didn't really work for this page so I cut the word Cousins out of thick Whisper White Cardstock- a lot of people have cutting machines that can do this for them - and then to carry the copper accents through I embossed the word to make it match. The sentiment I then got from Butterfly Gala and punched it using a new punch that's coming with the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue.
