Stampin' Up! Art in Bloom Thursday 21st April 2022

The card made for my Facebook live from Thursday 21st April 2022. Using one of my bundles Art in Bloom that I hadn't had a chance to use yet. There was a free shipping promotion when this was filmed that has finished. Vellum Scrapbooking Page - Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop April 2022

 

Welcome to this months hop - Sharni got to pick this one and I have been looking forward to sharing my page with you. I created it at a recent weekend away in preparation.

Did you know that Vellum colours beautifully? Well it does ands I have used it to cut the floral die out and then coloured it to match my DSP. This paper was in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and I am afraid it has already sold out!

Sunflower Celebration with Stampin' Up!

My Facebook live from Thursday 3^rd March 2022. Using one of my most favourite Bundles in the current Stampin’ Up! Catalogue. Why is it a favourite you ask – well Sunflowers make me happy.

Supplies:

• Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (at time of publishing this is bundled with the dies)

• Sunflowers Dies

• Basic White Thick Card for the card base

• Ink Pads - Memento

• Designer series paper – DSP (Pattern Party Hostess pack) but any black/white combination will work

• Basic Black Card for the matt under the DSP and some of the dies

• Stampin’ Blends in appropriate flower colours

• Linen Thread that I have coloured with the Stampin’ Blends to coordinate.

Hooray It's Thursday - Stampin' Up! Friendly Hello card and Scrapbook page (From Feb 24 2022)

Oh how I loved this stamp set and coordinating DSP - I used it whilst away to make this scrap page. For my Hooray it's Thursday on the 24th Feb I used this page as my inspiration for the above card.

Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink Scrapbook Page - Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop March 2022

Welcome to this months hop - Maï Lavidalie got to pick this one and I have been looking forward to it as its is not often that I restrict myself to a colour pallet. I have made cards recently with the same pallet as a practice run but they look nothing like this page after all. So here is my page using Mist Moonlight, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink - I will admit Petal Pink does not get much love in my craft room but I do love how this has turned out.

Teamed up with Black and White as my base and using a Designer Series Piece of paper as my main background instead of a solid colour I think actually changed the dynamics of this page.

     

The first photo was taken at night to show you my background - it is a mix of all 3 colours but I only used 1 stamp from the Artistically Inked set yo create that look.

     

I have used the Artistic Dies, Tailor Made Tags and Playful Alphabet Dies as the features on my page. The 2 stamp sets are Artistically Inked and Nothings Better Than. All the DSP is from the Host pack Pattern Party because I live the black white one side with colour choices the other combination.

Yes that is sewing machine stitching you see on the page - to get the shape I used a dinner plate , traced it with a pencil then stitched over the top. it is deliberately messy. If sewing on paper you will blunt your needle so you will want to have one special for use with paper that gets put aside when stitching fabric.
