Let's Strip - Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop August 2021

Welcome to my blog! Today is you guessed it Thursday! It is also the Scrapbooking Global August 2021 Blog Hop day. The design team and our guests are sharing our layouts created with the theme 'Let's Strip" this month. Our interpretations are all different so this hop is sure to be exciting but essentially it's purpose is to use strips to create our layouts or backgrounds.

This page not only uses the beautiful Pattern Party DSP that is part of the Host rewards section of the catalogue but it is heavily dependent on Dies for the decorative edges of the paper. To see the list of supplies and tools click on any of the photos.

Hooray it's Thursday - Thanks a Bunch with Stampin' Up! Hand-Penned Designer Paper

And we are back with another Thursday share today. I have chosen to play with the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper again - because I love it and there is so many different pieces to love in the pack.

Thanks a Bunch Card Front

Thanks a Bunch card inside

I love this technique where the card front although layered matches perfectly with the layer below. Check out the video to see how it's done.

You will find the supplies list HERE but also if you click on either photo of my card.
The Shaded Spruce boarder is cut to the size of the Die I used to cut bot of the stitched rectangles.

A Holly Jolly Wishes Christmas Card with Stampin' Up! Hooray It's Thursday!

Ok would you look at that it is Thursday again! This week I have a couple of new and exciting things to share - The Mini Catalogue has started with all the new Christmas goodies in it - that's a big win right? BUT to make it better Saleabration has also started.

I will link the new catalogues below but first I want to share my first Christmas card for the season using the Holly Jolly Wishes and the Sparkle of the Season stamp sets.

Holly Jolly Wishes Christmas Card 1

The DSP I have used is from the Saleabration Catalogue and it is FREE with a $90 AU spend. It is called Peaceful Prints and comes in 12 x 12 inch size.

Now if your wondering where the 'embossing folder' for the snowflakes is from - it is one of the new masks we have in that Mini Catalogue. I used our Cut and Emboss machine teamed with our silicone matt to use the mask to emboss the cardstock.

You are in luck I also made a video so if you would like to see how I did it you can click the video below to check it out.
