Lift Me Up and Fly Away in a Stampin' Up! Hot Air Balloon

Wonderful news - Lift Me Up and the co-ordinating Up & Away Thinlits are moving forward to the new catalogue. They will move forward individually but the current save 10% bundle is while stocks last.

Behind the Balloon colours I just took from my scrap box to use up some of it. Because I used Calypso Coral on the Balloon I popped it as my mat to give that extra layer of colour - or frame it as I say.

The little bits of colour I used are Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, White, Soft Sky and then some Soft Suede for the basket.

My dear daughter headed off to a friends birthday with this little beauty - a quick card to make and her friend loved it. I used the watercolour pencils for the background on the Shimmery White cardstock (because its my favourite) - I used the heat gun to dry it a little quicker as I am a wee bit heavy handed with the water.

*2017 Retiring items on this card*
The Mint Macaron ink pad and the Lift Me Up Bundle.

ESAD Retirement list Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to another ESAD Blog Hop - this month featuring our Stampin' Up! Retirement list. If you have hopped here from Rachael's blog or joined the hop here via a search engine welcome. Please continue to hop about the list to bid a fond farewell to some wonderful stamp sets, papers, punches, Framelits and embellishments as we make room for our exciting new goodies.

Will I miss the outgoing In-Colours? Yes I will!

Cucumber crush is tonight's - sorry your leaving - featured colour and the Stamp set is Peaceful Pines.

Not a difficult card to recreate but a lovely Christmas card all the same and way more sparkly in real life. I used this card for part of my monthly Stamp-a-Stack class and my ladies loved it.
We make 3 "Occasion" Cards all the same and 3 Christmas cards once a month together - when Christmas sneaks up on us as it always does we will be ready this year!

Retiring Items Used for this Card
Some items are not retiring like the Large letters Dies - Oh the bundle is but not the individual items so stamps and framelits carry over which is great for us Scrappers.

Moving Forward in the new Annual Catalogue items.

I couldn't pick just one set or item to focus on so you will continue to see more retiring items featured in my posts right up to the last minute - with some sneak peaks thrown in for a bit of variety. But for now continue along the hop to Narelle's Blog and lets see what she has to show us.

Save the Date - June the First - New Catalogue Excitement

Its started already because I'm planning ahead. I have set the date for my New Catalogue Launch so now I need to start preparing.

My Facebook 'Event' invitation has been uploaded for the 3rd and 4th of June with Stampin' Up! friends from far and wide welcome. Hubby has booked work for the 2 days - apparently a house full of women is a little to much - interesting since he loved Onstage. He was one of 3 blokes that were not staff there! I am hoping he changes his shifts - I need a good tea maker.

So what will you see at the Catalogue Launch?
New products - stamps, papers, embellishments, framelits, punches and my favourite the new InColors.

Easter has just been and gone and I do hope that your Easter was wonderful - ours was laden with way to much chocolate and although family was here the whole time I still feel I would like to see them more - my nephews and nieces are the cutest kids but growing way to fast.

Here is a little sneak peek of what's to come - this cute little crate is made using a new Framelit - its perfect for gift giving of treats. This little chickie was right at home in here.

So if you live in Australia and don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator already but need one I am more than happy to be that one. With my new found freedom (known as NBN) I can now Skype, Facetime or message with my unlimited NBN - its changed our lives here and I don't know how we survived before on 8gig a month! Shopping through the online store sees orders getting delivered straight to your door anywhere in Australia! How great is that?

Do you Live on the Central Coast - near Gosford or are you willing to travel here - I run classes in my home that I advertise on my Facebook Page and my Stampin' Up! Website, they are capped at 6 people but newbies are always welcome. I will also travel to do workshops in your home if you prefer and have a group of friends that would love to craft with me.

Do something creative everyday
It’s good for you!

Christmas Cheer with Santa's Sleigh

I love this set and am so glad it has carried over into the new Annual Catalogue, so you can get it now or wait till closer to Christmas even.
Oh the new catalogue is in my hot little hands and if you would like one in yours - coming soon (June in fact) please send me a email to HERE (available to Australian residents only).

Santa's Sleigh is one of my favourite Christmas sets and although the Christmas Catalogue has retired this set - along with some of the other great choices it has been carried over making one happy stamper. There's the stamps and an amazing Framelit set making fussy cutting non existent for even the tiniest pieces.

I found my inspiration form Amy K - she has 6 Blog entries featuring this set alone and I think this one is next. So not much tweaking with this one but I do love the Gold glimmer version!

Want to see more - I used this same set to make this Z-Fold Card HERE. Its a fun set and one I found to be most popular with my friends.

Stampin' Up! OnStage Sydney April 2014 Swaps

OnStage {a 6monthly event for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators around the world}.

A tradition at Stampin' Up events is the 'Swap' and I love it. I made 50 cards as my swaps in 2 of my favourite colours, we make as many swaps as we like but they are usually all the same or very similar as some techniques don't let us be so consistent.

These 3 carrots were a special gift and each for a different reason. Easter is coming and I needed some way of packing some special Bone folders I engraved to give, oh and Easter eggs. My mother suggested the carrot so I found a template online and got to work. The template cane be found HERE if you would like to make your own. This PAGE has some examples and some tips on the carrot making also.

I printed the carrot template then traced it onto the Peekaboo Peach Incolour DSP - I got 2 out of each 12x12 piece. I used the dot side as then it didn't matter which way I put the template. The top is our lovely Ruched Ribbon in Emerald Envy with a tag attached with linen thread.

To make the carrot you will need these plus any sentiment and tag feature you like I used the Stitched Framelits and the Layering Squares.
Onto my swaps for everyone to enjoy - well 50 people anyway as I didn't make 550 of them and that's about how many people I counted in Sydney!
I love the faux watercolour technique using Blooms & Wishes - where you stamp then wash over with aqua painter let it dry then repeat. So that's what I did for my flowers.
The colour choice was Crushed Curry or Sweet Sugarplum - and the Sweet Sugarplum ones went first.

If you saw my previous post then you would know that my Husband Tony joined me as a supporting Demonstrator - he made his own swaps cased from Kaitlyn and tweaked - he said he saw another similar but I couldn't find it when I went looking so I could tag their page.

So this is my haul of swaps all set up ready for my team meeting on Saturday. So many different ideas and between the 2 of us we only ended up with about 4 double ups.

So till next time with some sneak peeks of what is moving forward or even a little look at what's in my big brown box when it arrives - of how exciting!
