Kelly's Stampin' Friends Blog Hop

Its Happy Stampin' Birthday month for Kelly and what better way to celebrate than a 'Happy' Blog hop amongst friends. Kelly is celebrating 5 years as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and I'm thrilled to hop along with her but to also call her my friend.

I decided to play with Birthday Delivery as I am rather partial to balloons and poodles!

I used Pacific Point cardstock with a Pumpkin Pie card front. The poodle is Crumb Cake with some serious Wink of Stella highlights.

Lets get a little closer can you see the Wink? It just highlighted the poodle a little in her fluffy spots. She has a matching Pumpkin Pie ribbon and every girl needs a little bling!
Th
The balloons didn't stand a chance they were also hit with the 'Wink' - I love Wink of Stella for making cards that little bit more special!

Ok so the reasons I love poodles so much may have something to do with these 2 - my little old ladies Ferrari and Shazza.

So thanks for stopping by I hope you like my Birthday Delivery Share - hehehe its hard to write that and not think of work (I'm a Midwife at the local hospital). Now its off to visit Denita and see what goodies she has to share with us.

ESAD 2017/18 Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to another of our ESAD Blog Hops. Tonight we are having a sneak Peek at what's new - well in a few days anyway!
Thank you for joining me if you have landed on my page from Sandra's Blog post and I look forward to sharing my project with you. If you are visiting from a link welcome you are - let me see a little over half way into our hop and you are most welcome to hit the NEXT button below to have a look at all the other great projects the ESAD members have to share.

I have the new colours to show you and a brand new stamp set.
The 2017-2019 In Color (the US spelling gets me every time) Collection

I made this frame to show off the colours and thought oh this would transfer over to a card nicely so here they are!

Oooo favourites - a bit like kids one must not have favourites but I will admit I already do!

So these are our note card packs - a great bargain with the card and envelopes in the one packet. I cut a stitched square out of shimmer and swished a little watercolour wash over it, once dry I used the leaf skeleton stamp to stamp the leaf onto the square (I used it on the inside also and the envelope) There is a leaf skeleton thinlit in the set that I have stuck on with a glue dot - now if you position it well you can pinch the leaf from the coloured card underneath the stitched square and no-one need know.

This is Tranquil Tide and divine dark green that makes me feel so warm and fuzzy - well Green is my favourite colour to start with so I will admit I do love this!

Fresh Fig - remember Blackberry Bliss and how luscious that colour was - well this one pushes all the right buttons just like it did!

The beautiful Berry Burst - compliments the other family members perfectly. It watercolours up very pink!

Powder Pink is the quiet one of the family - a soft pale colour that will be perfect for subtle highlights or as you can see here standing alone as a statement.

The Party Animal of the family Lemon Lime Twist - reminds me of my youngest daughter - it fits in when it has to but is proud and happy just to shine on its own as well. It is bright and bubbly - yes I have a soft spot for this one!

You can see the Stitched Framelits sitting on top of a Scalloped Layering Square.

The new stamp set and thinlits are from the Colourful Seasons Bundle. (145348) In this Bundle you have Colorful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp Set plus Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies RRP $92.50AUD.

This Bundle is part of a new Suite called Color Theory Suite - Beautiful brushstrokes with nature inspired colours and images.

Beginning to look a little like Christmas with the Stampin' Up! Eastern Medallions

The Eastern Palace Bundle offer is drawing to a close. So I have stepped out of my comfort zone to challenge myself using it to create a Christmas Card.
With so many options I often find I get a bit flabbergasted so I restricted my colour pallet and my time.
Who can spend hours creating and still not finish a project? I was finding that was me so moving forward I have now put boundaries in place to help.

So this is my Christmas card for today - my brain is now buzzing but I have put those buzzes on paper to follow up later.

I love the new Tranquil Tide In Colour (just between us my favourite colour has always been green - maybe its to with the red hair?). Tranquil Tide goes so well with Real Red for Christmas, add a little Crushed Curry and you to can make this card.

I am thinking that I love clusters so this card highlights a corner cluster. The gold medallion under the red - lets call it a flower because that's what I see here, was also cut with the petal style framelit but they are not popped up. This close up shows loads of sparkle and I'm impressed I finally got a good photo of Wink of Stella!

Follow the theme through to the inside of the card and envelope - to me it completes the card.

I really enjoyed creating this card and have added it to my growing stash of Christmas Cards - I am going to have a lovely stash this year and it will be the first time I send different Christmas cards to everyone.

Along with your tools and adhesives these are the goodies on my table. You don't need the whole Eastern Palace Bundle but you do need the Stamps and Framelits so during May 2017 this is how you get all the goodies. From June 1st you can purchase items individually.

Tasty Treats final Hurrah

Soon to retire I just had to squeeze one more share of the fabulous Tasty Treats DSP cards I have made.
The DSP makes it easy to create pretty cards for any occasion.
Miss Eilish is approaching 18 and the first of her school friends have reached the milestone so a special card (not just one from the box) was required.

Layering coordinating DSP  makes it easy to create lovely cards - the hardest bit I find is making the initial chop! I have been following the #loveitchopit hash tag because I do have a DSP hoarding issue so secretly knowing I have a full spare pack of this particular DSP I have actually enjoyed chopping it up and using it.
Now whilst the paper is retiring we can still enjoy the returning Cool Treats Photopolymer Stamp Set and Frozen Treats Framelits Dies as they make their way into the new Annual Catalogue.

The Celebrate You sentiment is from Endless Birthday Wishes sitting proudly on the stitched oval - Oh how I love those stitched framelits!

Eastern Palace Bundle and the Just Add Ink Challenge #360

My friend Kelly posted the cutest card the other day and with it came a Just Add Ink challenge JAI360.

I have had the Eastern Palace Bundle (the one I had to have) sitting here not seeing any ink so I decided that this challenge would see me change that! The bundle is amazing and I have only scratched the surface with this card - I didn't even use the pretty stickers like I wanted to.

Here is the sketch we are working from - its an inspiration so knowing how I prefer cards that are portrait orientation I tweaked it a little.

I felt a little challenged with the inside as the only stamping is  on the front is the sentiment but I think I made it work well.
The large dot Embossing folder is retiring - it is one of my favourites so I had to use it just one more time - well at the moment anyway.

Love my card? Please leave a comment below.
Would you like to make this you will need these goodies in your stash.
