Stampin' Up! Colour Challenge Blog Hop - Global Stamping Friends

Hello and welcome back to another Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop. We have 19 Hoppers with us today - you may have hopped here all the way from Amanda's Blog in Canada.

We have a colour challenge for you - Early Espresso, Island Indigo and my favourite Lemon lime Twist.

Is it now I admit these ink pads sat on my table all week with me trying to decide what to do with them! Well my pre-reserved Stamparatus arrived on Thursday so I have been experimenting with these inks and my new 'toy'.

I am in love with the whole thing but the hinge - wow love how it hops and I can't wait to see what I come up with when I'm away scrapping with it next week! My car front I wanted the ink stamped off so rather than waste it I have a solid - well darker version of the Lemon Lime Twist and Island Indigo for later use. I just slipped another piece on top of my front without a magnet but butted up against the other one stamped then moved it to stamp again on my card.

Well short and sweet from me this time - till next time please hop on over to see what Angelique has to share with us - I love her stuff!

  2. I love the copper trim accent, and what a great idea to use the Stamparatus to help create your background! I haven't played much with my Stamparatus much yet, so thanks for sharing your idea :-D

    1. I had to remove my typo, LOL. Great example on the use of the hinged stamping technique. The Happy Birthday font was the reason I chose the set too.

  6. Hi from the UK. Wow I love your card. Love the idea of stamping off the bright colours to leave a muted colour for the actual card. All in all i LOVE the card. 😀.
