Inksomniacs 2017 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop - Watercolor Christmas

Welcome to the first Inksomniacs Team Blog Hop. We are part of an Australian Stampin' Up! Team and decided to get together to show you some goodies from the new Seasonal Catalogue released today. Being in Australia you get to purchase these goodies first because of our time zones - yay!

If you have joined me for other hops you know I know that you may be starting here or somewhere else in the hop so please continue to have a look at what the other ladies have to share.

I am a big fan of the Stampin' Up! kits - they make it very easy to have great results when creating. The Watercolor Christmas Project Kit is featured on page 33 of the Australian Seasonal Catalogue, I am yet to play with the kit but I have used the coordinating stamp set to create these goodies to show you.

I have teamed it up with the great Be Merry DSP from the Annual Catalogue and used the colours Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green as per the DSP.
I used versamark and Clear Emboss with the sentiment to make it shiny. If you would like to see how I did this you can pop over to THIS POST.

I was on a bit of a roll so thought these would make a lovely gift for a teacher or friend. We have Acetate gift boxes in the Seasonal Catalogue as well - they hold 5 cards and envelopes. so I made a set of 5 others - I left the Rhinestones off those but they still look smick - popped them into one of the acetate gift boxes and tied with a ribbon. There is even a matching Tag I made to go on it.

I got all 6 cards out of one piece of DSP making that very economical.

Thank you for joining me this time - I would love it if you pop on over to see what Melinda has to share with us.

Along with your Trimmer, Big Shot and adhesive of choice you will need these goodies to recreate these cards.
