ESAD Last Chance Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog and thank you for visiting, If you are hopping along from Kelly's Blog that's great or if you have just landed here please hop along to see more great Sale-A-Bration goodies featured in our hop.

The Sale-A-Bration item I have chosen to feature is the Carried Away Designer Series Paper FREE with a $90 AU spend but only till 31st March 2017 so don't delay.

I used it to make 12 different cards with enough left over to make another 24 exactly the same and still some extra pieces for a scrapbook page I have planned. I'm impressed 36 cards and leftovers from one pack of DSP that's great value and can be used with any of our DSP packs.

I followed Brandi's video from the Stampin' Up! YouTube channel but tweaked the measurements for Australian size cards.

I didn't do the tin Brandi did but I do love that idea as well.

For our Aussie crafters working with our cardstock sizes this is what I did.
My Bases were cut A4 exactly in half for both style of card type.
The DSP was cut to 10x14.2cm
The little DSP strips were 1.8x10cm the banner was hand cut.
the Whisper White main piece 7x8.5  stamped in both Landscape and Portrait depending on which base it was going on.
The inner Whisper White Panel is 9x13.5cm
All cards have a stamped matching envelope making this s great gift giving option as well.

One must have a list of goodies so here it is - I have popped the Lift Me up Bundle in wood on the list as just by purchasing that one item you are eligible for the FREE DSP
Thank you for visiting please hop along to Rachael's Blog to see what beauties she has to show you. Until next time have a beautiful crafty day.

Inksomniacs team Challenge February

Our team has monthly challenges and this is my favourite CASE the Catalogue. The catalogue in this case is the Occasions Catty and it was so hard to pick my favourite card to case I actually chose more than one to do. Today though I'm going to share this one from page 12.

The best bit about this card - I only used markers so my class ladies got to see how easy it is to colour the red rubber stamps.

This is a great idea why not CASE your favourite card in the catalogue?

A kids class with a difference - with Miss Tara

Start them young they say - My Miss Tara had some friends to visit. I had a Stamp a Stack and my friend bought her 2 girls so Tara decided that they would have a workshop as well.

They used so many products - mostly retired and my Real Red needed reinking afterwards. The girls had a blast that's for sure and it sure beats them having their noses in a iPad.

February is Birthday Month

In this house February sees 2 birthdays - mine and our middle daughter Maeve. I think Birthdays are special and although the hubby is slowly coming round to - yes everyone needs a card and no the plastic bag is not appropriate wrapping, it has and continues to be a journey.

This is Maeve's Card - yes I left it to the last minute and that is usually when I do my best non - cased work. The set is Super Duper and comes in red rubber (my favourite) Wood or Clear.
I also pulled out the balloon punch with coordinating stamp to add some texture. Do you like my highlights? They are the White Stampin' Chalk marker.

The baggie - one or our Petite Café gift bags - oh my gosh I have had them for ages but this was the first time I used them. They are so nice to stamp on and made wrapping her earings super easy. I will say did you know that these bags are poly-lined and food safe? I should have swapped out the earings for cookies!

With your usual supplies you will also need these goodies -----

So In Love with Falling in Love!

You know what I have decided - my best cards come from Pinterest inspiration and a lack of design and prep time.

I had a workshop blow out with 6 extra people added in the last 4 hrs before starting, not enough stock to do my original choice so I had to design, prep and pack then get to the workshop in that short space of time! Talk about stress but I did it.

30 minutes on Pinterest with a stamp set, DSP and colours in mind already (since I had enough stock of those items) I found Linda's card and went yes that's divine and I can do that with my friends. You can check out Linda's card HERE as its similar but not exactly the same.

Now these ladies I was working with are good friends of mine and very experienced long term scrapbookers so I knew they would be up for any challenge but I also knew their colour likes and dislikes so half got the predominately pink DSP while the other half the blue.
I added the gold glimmer numbers to use the card for a friends 5oth so I also gave them the choice of numbers.

Feeling the Birthday Love #Imbringingbirthdaysback

Oh I have been quietly slipping back into life - with loads happening over the last month but especially the last 2 weeks.
As I rush once more out the door I want to share first some birthday love from my Stampin' Up! friends. Possibly friends I have now that I wouldn't know if Stampin' Up! didn't come into my life and enrich it so.

This love has come all the way from Utah to Australia - Shannon West the leader of #imbringingbirthdaysback the movement lol sent me this divine card with some equallt special birthday wishes.

Kelly a new friend from way across the other side of Australia - I am loving this Elephant more and more.

Ellen - a Stampin' sister who I love like a real sister.
