It's how many weeks til Christmas?
Oh my golly gosh I had better start to get organised - I've seen some fun and amazing things on Pinterest for Christmas using the Thoughtful Branches set so I though - why not!
Some more Tempting Turquoise featuring in this great card. Cucumber Crush and Sweet Sugarplum also take this card to a different place for Christmas - can you se a little sneak peak there? That greeting is from the Cookie Cutter set in the new Seasonal Catalogue - have you got yours yet? Oh boy so many lovely things my pre order was huge and I am still loving all of the 'stuff' I got. But I digress back to Thoughtful Branches - I do love trees and these trees are no exception.
How stunning is this card - I used the woodgrain textured embossing folder for the back panel. I found it on Stempelpanda by Mona along with some other great Thoughtful Branches ideas.
Both these cards have been inspired by treasures I have found on the web - I thank the lovely creators of this work for sharing their cards to inspire us all.

Another Beaut Birthday
Happy Blooming Birthday!
Says it all doesn't it!
What started as a card based on my friends favourite colour - Real Red this is where I ended.
Can you see the Real Red? It's there I promise - the inside of that big beautiful flower has the Real Red feature. The bigger flower layer has Real Red kissed of once and that's it!
Well my friend loved it even though it wasn't predominantly red.
Want to make this yourself?
You will need Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White card stock.
I used some scraps of the diagonal stripe DSP from the Neutrals stack for the black stripe feature.
Flower Patch Stamp set and coordinating Framelits
I've used these inks - Tempting Turquoise, Real red, Old Olive, Wild Wasabi and Memento black.
Old Olive marker - flick the brush end with the lid to give you the splatters or tap the marker on a pencil for a similar effect.

Cake Day
Yay my little miss has hit the magic 17.
I have saved this card for ages (pre new catty) she loved the balloons when this DSP came out and I made it way back then. Took me ages to find it this morning in a mad panic but here it is.
Oh and since its Cake Day
My laser got put to good use cutting me a mirrored board and a magical number 17.
Hehehe I also snuck in a 21 so I could get a photo for my Etch n Scratch Etsy store. Preparation is the key! Only 4 years to go.
Sunshine Sayings Have you seen this bundle?
Have you seen this bundle? It's divine to say the least.
Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set + Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies

It's beautiful, I headed to a friends for a play, as stamping is better with company, we has a blast.
Sunshine Sayings is a bundle with the Sunshine Wishes Framelits and we used fun foam to make extra 'stamps' to create this great background.
Can you see all our new in-colours? My favourite is Emerald Envy but I seem to be using a heap of Dapper Denim - it might take over Night of Navy as my go to blue soon.
Fun Foam isn't expensive here in Australia so give this fun technique a go.
We cut the foam on the Big Shot with the framelits we liked added some adhesive to the back and stuck them on a clear block.
I will share that they don't clean easily so don't stamp them in a dark colour first thinking you can move to a light next - mmm it doesn't work and I had to search for pad cleaning techniques on YouTube.
The other great ting is you can cut 2 and have them both stamp in different directions - except words make sure the snail goes on the correct side of those (I learnt heaps and should not do this when tired).

I have added some of my creations for you to enjoy.
Onto a beautiful Whisper White base I have embossed the tree and in this case snow drift using the white embossing powder. The tree has been cut in Whisper White using the framelits and the banner was hand cut at the end of a rectangle.
The colour on this card comes from the birds in Watermelon Wonder and the text in Sahara Sand.
Oh and there was a load of excitement when I realised even the birds had a framelit each!
Sara Douglass shared a video with followers on how to create this beautiful watercolour card on her Official Facebook page - there is also a heap of other great ideas there if you would like a great page to follow. I had to recreate it and it is just so beautiful.
So till next time Happy Stampin.

One of those cards!
We all have a time where we need 'One of Those Cards'
I need a stash lately which is sad in itself but it's nice to be able to send a little love to those you care about when the going is tough.
So most of the card is relatively easy to read as this wasn't a hard card to make.
I will say though the pretty butterfly was initially cut from the Detailed Heart Thinlit then sent through the Big Shot to become a butterfly. Pretty hey? My dear friend Johanna showed me this little beauty.

Project Life holiday fun.
Project Life - remembering one page at a time!
I have been a Scrapbooker for a long time but often left overwhelmed by the massive number of photos I take and the need to showcase them all.
Project Life Memory keeping has changed the way I showcase my photos and record the story that is my life.
I don't go with the traditional week by week pages that Project life lends itself to but use it to compliment the traditional 12x12 pages that I still love to complete.
Recently we took a family holiday for 8 days - well we came home with almost 2500 photos! Taken on 3 cameras, 2 phones and by the Dreamworld staff between us we got some great shots.
We spent 3 days at Dreamworld including a day at the water park - White Water World that's linked to Dreamworld.
Here's some of the pages that I have done so far - can you see the scrappy influences - I just cant eave anything to flat!
One could not walk past the DreamWorks Experience - We love King Julien

Goldrush Country was visited each day as we all loved the River Rapids ride.

The girls (well 2 of them) really wanted to pat a Tiger and this made their day.

Stampin' Up! Stock - These links will take you to the Australian pages and if you don't have a demonstrator yet please feel free to pop my name into the Demonstrator finder to create your account.
Remember our July Online Store Code for orders below $250 AUD is valid until the 31st PDDDKT7V

It's in the box! Fit your Stampin' Up! set back in the box.
Does it remind you of your childhood? Tetris comes to my mind when dealing with some stamp sets because of the tigh squeeze.
Brainwave lightbulb moment I created a Pinterest board for the sets so now to add them.
Let's start with this one a favourite of mine Party Wishes and although retired it's one I can't part with.

Bye bye Summer Silhouettes
Mixing it up and using some of my stash.
The current but retiring Summer Silhouettes teamed with some retired trim and current carrying over colours Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz. Sentiment is from the new release (1st June- can't wait) Love & Affection stamp set.
Inspired by Pinterest as usual and I love how it turned out.

Where's the inspiration from?
We all get inspiration from somewhere right? It might be a card we see at the store, a pretty piece of paper, Pinterest, a friend or even something totally left field like a kiddies dress. (That card has to wait but it's worth it)
Have you heard of CASE? Copy And Share Everything. Lol there's a whole Stampin' Up! Demo's blog dedicated to it known as CASEing the Catty.
Today I will share a card that I have CASED almost exactly to a stamper I love to follow. Brian King from http://stampwithbrian.com is a great card maker from the States that I get a lot of inspiration from but every now and then I feel a great need to recreate his exact card because I love it so much.

On-Stage celebrating
We have just got back from On Stage and I thought I'd share my swaps.
The Burlap ribbon looks so different all pulled apart.
Soft Sky card stock with some watered down Soft Sky ink washed across it made for a great background although initially I was a bit worried.
All set up like a production line.
Yay first one of what turned out to be 48 finished.
Now for a photo shoot in front of the photo rock (I do love my photo rock)
