Welcome over from Ambers blog in Canada as we hop all about the world from one side of the globe to here in Australia then back again.
I was asked to make the invitations for the party so promptly started playing but my Mother In Law wasn't fussed about what I was showing them so they came to 'help'!
That was the end result a very pretty pink card - whilst I'm not a pink fan I am rather pleased with how this came out. Our Pink Pirouette just happened to be what the bridesmaids wore on the day so that's how we got here.
Once the design was decide we knocked them out in a few - well 4 hrs - because we worked together.
I am into production mode so whilst my Mother in Law cut all the hearts my Father in law cut all the 50's - and he got them out of one sheet of Glimmer! A man after my own heart 27 sets from one sheet! I started with cutting the Whisper White and pink then onto embossing and stamping. Once all the pieces were done we just popped them together. It was actually a great team effort - oh my hubby made the dinner!
This is the inside of my card - I left off all the details of my one so I can keep it for my samples board. Note the envelope and matching insides?
Thanks for popping by now head on over to Rebecca's to see what love she has to share.
