Christmas Gift Packaging, Gift Card Holder - SBTD Nov Blog hop

Welcome to our SBTD November blog Hop. We are a small group of 12 Demonstrators from around the world - you are currently visiting Australia.

We are focusing on Gift packaging - with Christmas so close its time to start preparing. In our family we often give the bigger kids Gift Cards - especially ITunes cards so this is perfect to make it that little bit more special. Today I am following another of Dawn Griffiths YouTube video tutorials to make the 'card'. You can watch the video HERE - I love that she speeds bits up so that her videos are quick and easy to watch.

Cut Card and DSP (all measurements in inches)

Colour 1 (Cherry Cobbler)
Base 4 1/4 x 11 (score in half and then at 2 3/4)
Inner Piece 3 1/2 x 9 (score in half)

Whisper White
4 x 21/2 one
4 1/4 x 3 1/4 cut two

DSP (pattern 1)
4 x 2 1/2
4 1/4 x 3 1/4 cut one of each

DSP (pattern 2)
3 1/4 x 1 cut 2

Tools
2" Circle punch
1 1/2" Circle punch
1 3/4" Layering Circles scallop to frame (use a scrap of Glimmer paper)

So before sticking the small circle on the front hold the card flat and then add your dimensionals just below the top piece that folds over the front - that way you won't stick the front down wonky and the circle close mechanism will work well.

Thanks heaps for hopping by, below the hop participant list is a list of the goodies you will need to make this card. Please continue to hop around with Tashana up next, I always love to see what she has in store for us and she is using some of my most favourite DSP.
