You're Delightful, You're the Best! It says it all.

Hubbies birthday this time and he really is the best so I pulled out the Host set You're Delightful for his card. I am also trying to go through and use my un-inked stamp sets otherwise you would only get to see one or 2 different ones that happen to be my favourite.

The other set you can see is Weather Together - I have used the gifts from this set and stamped them as the background on the Tempting Turquoise background. They followed through to the inside and the envelope (no photo of the envelope today sorry).

A little hard to see in the photos but the large text is embossed to make colouring easier. I used my blender pen to colour with the variation each of the words.

Hop you like it - these are the goodies I used.

Watercolor Christmas Tree Card SBTD 9/2017

Welcome back my friends am I glad to have you here and join me for another SBTD Blog Hop. The theme for today’s hop is 'Trees, Branches and or Leaves'  I jumped straight to Christmas trees because I am trying to increase my Christmas stash so I am organized this year.

I am still loving the Watercolor Christmas Stampin' Up! Set - that large script Christmas wishes stamp would have to be my favourite in the set but the 3 random trees are todays 'lets say focus'.

Can you see the shiny text - I do love embossing and this stamp looks perfect embossed - ink your stamp with Versamark then Garden Green, stamp it then sprinkle with clear Emboss powder, heat and voila shiny green text!

Here is a second card that matches the first as I had a load of trees that I cut to 'play' with so wanting to use them I came up with this one.

The small tree squares were stamped and coloured on Shimmer paper then cut out using the Stitched Framelits. The Garden Green square on the Oh Joy card was also 'Winked' with Wink of Stella.

Thanks for popping past I hope you like my cards today - please visit Tanisha's Blog and see what she has been up to with the Color Theory Suite - some great goodies I'm sure!

Text Ya Later with Tabs For Everything 18th Birthday Card

My big Miss turned 18 - wow what a milestone.

I let her request what stamp set I used for her birthday card and of course she chose her favourite Text Ya Later!

We had a Dragon party planned but I tried to do a dragon card but shelved all those ideas!.

I also pulled out Tabs For Everything to create my background. Each of the word bubbles are fussy cut then coated with our Fine Tip Glue to give the shiny look.

Sweet Treats Eclipse Birthday Card

Its Birthday time - September is a busy month in this home. My youngest daughter turned 13 this week an this called for a super special card.
I have been seeing a load of Fall and Noel Cards using the Eclipse technique and thought I'd give it a whirl as Tara being only 4 letters would fit perfectly!

So out came Cool Treats because this kid although she is a handful is really very sweet and kind soul.
I headed over to YouTube to find a good example on how to create the effect and found a video by Randy Collins You can see it HERE -  She stamped her card first and that is what I will be doing next time - the impressions from the thinlits meant I had to press really hard to get great ink transfer.

I stamped the inside with the Happy Birthday sentiment as it wouldn't fit on the front - my plan is to secretly take the card when I process the photos and pop the front into a photo pocket.

To make your own you will need these goodies along with your Trimmer, Big Shot and Adhesive.
