Thank You Sale-A-Bration

We had a hoard of people - Family here for Christmas and I have decided that in my madness of loving to make cards they all needed Thank You cards for coming.

The new SAB set hadn't seen any ink yet so out it came and with a little Stampin' Up! magic I have made a heap of these and sent them to the family.

So how did I do this you say? The Thank You is double stamped  using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig - yes you need this for this card. The envelope has the flourish from Timeless Textures on it.

The strip along the bottom uses the grid from Timeless Textures set also embossed in white on white then using the sponge rollers roll along in Soft Sky till you are happy with the colour.

Her is a few pics of some of the family - the Girls (mum, me and my 3 young ladies). I hope you had a great Christmas family time we did.

Sale-A-Bration Hey Chick International Blog Hop

I love the chickens they are just so darn cute! The set Hey Chick is FREE yes FREE (great word hey) with Sale-A-Bration.

I have made my own version of the card in the SAB brochure - I like to CASE them because they always turn out great.

I just love this scruffy lady she is a heap of fun - I used the new Watercolor Pencils to colour her in on Shimmery White paper - added a little Wink of Stella (the photos never show it well but it is there). I think this hen is my favourite out of the girls.
Why did the chicken cross the road? To deliver a handmade card to a friend! These playful hens will deliver smiles all around. This cutie is for the Dance teacher - don't you just love all her students there lined up in a row? The greeting is from Layering Love, the top hat is from Guy Greetings and I did a little masking, the dancing cane is drawn freehand.

To make my card you will need your regular supplies with these goodies.

What is your favourite SAB item? Mine is the glorious Tin for storing my cards - I have decided they make great gifts when filled with hand made cards for those hard to buy for friends and rellies. I will be stocking up on these as my wish list is huge from the new catalogue.

I have seen other Demonstrators falling in love with the Inside The Lines Designer Series Paper (DSP) - it coordinates with the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle beautifully!

Stampin' Up! have a great video on YouTube that shows the paper in all its glory and you will find it HERE

Oh and another love of mine is the new Watercolor pencils in Stampin' Up! Colours - these are easy to use and work very well in comparison to other branded watercolour pencils on the Australian market at least. There is a Video to introduce them as well HERE

So Happy Stampin' have a great New Year and safe, fun 2017.

Holly Jolly Layers

Last one for the 2016 Holiday catalogue.
This beauty was for my Boss at my 'other job' well my life career job - chosen fresh out of high school and now I have over 20 years service up! I do love it and if you ask my kids what I do they will tell you I catch babies!
I am a midwife at the local hospital and whilst I don't catch many babies anymore as I work on the postnatal ward I do love being a Midwife.

I used the Holly Jolly Layers Hostess set for this card and the Merry Medley Background stamp.
To make the background stamp stand out I clear embossed on shimmer paper and it looked very stylish indeed. Under the Real Red Stitched Edge Ribbon there was a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper so it sparkled even more.

Have a beautiful creative day my friends far and wide.

You will need these to recreate this card along with your trimmer.
