Glimmer Paper, Stylish Stems and Stampin' Up! Perfect.

Oh how I have fallen in love with the 2nd release Sale-A-Bration products especially this Glimmer Paper. It works beautifully peaking through the flower image from the Stylish Stems Framelits.

Perusing about Pinterest I stumbled across Sarah Lancaster in France and loved what she had done with the Glimmer Paper so saved it to my board for the inspiration to make a set of my own. I will say I have now used up a whole pack of Glimmer Paper just making sets of these cards. My class ladies have also made a set each - You can make 16 of each card (48 in total) with one pack and have some long strips left for other projects if you are frugal with your cutting.

I used the Stitched Framelits for the top square, the scallop square from the square layering Framelits underneath so there is also a pretty edge.

This is the framelit set that is bundled with Special Reason and you will find some other cards I have made with this bundle here with the tag 2017 Occasions Catalogue.

If you would like to make this set of cards this is what you will need.

Special Reason Case

I find inspiration from all places but I do love coming back to the Catalogue on a regular basis. Today is no exception.

The special Reason Bundle is not 'Just another Flower set' its got more than one unique feature but this negative flower framelit is divine.

The card front is a piece of Calypso Coral card stamped with images from the stamp set in Calypso Coral ink - I did stamp off so have a divine piece of bright DSP I made that will need to merge into something else.

The little white splatters a re White embossing powder - with some watered down Multi-purpose glue I flicked it at the paper to give a random effect then applied the powder - melted it with the heat gun and voilĂ  - how good does that look?

Want to make this card - you will need these items.

ESAD Last Chance Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog and thank you for visiting, If you are hopping along from Kelly's Blog that's great or if you have just landed here please hop along to see more great Sale-A-Bration goodies featured in our hop.

The Sale-A-Bration item I have chosen to feature is the Carried Away Designer Series Paper FREE with a $90 AU spend but only till 31st March 2017 so don't delay.

I used it to make 12 different cards with enough left over to make another 24 exactly the same and still some extra pieces for a scrapbook page I have planned. I'm impressed 36 cards and leftovers from one pack of DSP that's great value and can be used with any of our DSP packs.

I followed Brandi's video from the Stampin' Up! YouTube channel but tweaked the measurements for Australian size cards.

I didn't do the tin Brandi did but I do love that idea as well.

For our Aussie crafters working with our cardstock sizes this is what I did.
My Bases were cut A4 exactly in half for both style of card type.
The DSP was cut to 10x14.2cm
The little DSP strips were 1.8x10cm the banner was hand cut.
the Whisper White main piece 7x8.5  stamped in both Landscape and Portrait depending on which base it was going on.
The inner Whisper White Panel is 9x13.5cm
All cards have a stamped matching envelope making this s great gift giving option as well.

One must have a list of goodies so here it is - I have popped the Lift Me up Bundle in wood on the list as just by purchasing that one item you are eligible for the FREE DSP
Thank you for visiting please hop along to Rachael's Blog to see what beauties she has to show you. Until next time have a beautiful crafty day.
