Scrapbooking Black & White Photos - Scrapbooking Global March 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog you are now visiting Courtenay - I am from the beautiful Central Coast of NSW Australia. I think I am definitely going to need to share more with you and scrap more to save my sanity over the next little while with all the bugs that are around. This months hop features black and white photos on our scrap pages - not something I do frequently I must admit even though I am a fan of turning my photos into a black and white copy. The kids even prefer them at times - apparently it takes away that teenage pimply skin look!

So this is my Miss Maeve - we were just playing around with photos and the camera on my phone when I upgraded. Her hair is a beautiful caramel red colour, its long and mostly styled in a bun or plait, her favourite colours are red and green - decided to ignore that lol.

So how about some close ups - the DSP is the current Sale-A-Bration FREE Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper reward level $90 (in Australia so check your local market).
It is crinkled because I wet it to activate the Pigment Sprinkles then pushed the water around by blowing through a straw. I also dabbed the extra puddles off colour with a tissue.

Using the Positive thoughts Stamp set I stamped to create a fern frame around my photo. Then added some Die cut pieces for colour pop. Positive thoughts has a coordinating Die set available currently as a 'while supplies last or until the end of March' so get them sooner rather than later. The 'you and year' titles are from my extensive chipboard stash - they are coloured with ink directly from the stamp pad. I wanted a matt finish on them for this page.

Hope you like this months page and I'd love it if you popped a comment below for me. But for now its time to pop on over to see the page that Jenn Charles has created using her Black & White photo.

Hoppers for March.

Product List for this page - *for Card Stock I used scraps from one of my many scrap stashes.
