Stampin' Up! Daisy Lane - It's Spring in Australia!

Spring is in the air and that makes everything better right? Well some days as winter is trying to sneak back in but you really can smell it in the air and I love that smell. How sweet is this very quick to make card - it would brighten anyone's day.

Using only a few supplies this card can be tweaked to suit your friends colour preferences. I have used Mango melody for my card but it would look equally as stunning in Real Red or Melon Mambo for example.

The stamped front panel has the one stamp used multiple times but also not re-inking the image every time until I got it looking how I wanted it - it's also got a little sponging over it but with a light touch only.

I am trying out a couple of things to share the supplies list for this card. The first is a clickable picture to my Stampin' Up! site where you can download the picture but you can also hit 'add all to shopping cart' then below that I have the individual items with a clickable link on each picture.

Stampin' Up! Monster Bash - Open if you Dare! SBTD September 19 Blog Hop

Welcome to our SBTD September Blog Hop. This month we are focusing on our favourite Halloween stamp set, bundle or products from the holiday catalogue - I live in Australia and although it's getting bigger it's not an occasion I decorate for, make cards for or even scrapbook pages of.
I did however purchase the Monster Bash DSP (page 53) with the intentions of using one sheet for a scrap page for some Disney Haunted House photos. Oh and the Ornate Frames Dies oh my gosh I love those!

The other half a sheet of DSP from last weeks scrapbook page came in handy for some very quick easy made cards. Just change out the sentiment and colour to suit the occasion and your on a winner. The edges have all been distressed a little with an inked Dauber.

Now it's time to hop on over to the Hive and see what Tashana has to share with us. She did some super cute things with her Paper Pumpkin September kit last week as well so flick back there and have a look at that also.

Stampin' Up! Boys Scrapbook page - Scrapbooking Global September 19

Welcome once again to the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop, we have 16 hoppers with us this time so heaps to see - This month our theme is 'What Little Boys are made of' so once again a little different to what I am usually up to. Having 3 daughters, boys are not usually a theme that I need to go with. I really wanted to scrap these photos from my daughters 18th so this theme has been stretched to make it work. Sherry Ross picked this theme for us - she has the cutest little fellow featured in her page.

Welcome to those that have hopped from Sharon's blog and to those of you who are starting here. What are little boys made of? What a question - but one things for sure some never grow up!

I didn't want to use an even number of photos but I didn't have another to go with these ones so 4 it was! They were taken at my daughters 18th in 2017 at the photobooth. The little ones were short hence the photos on the bottom of the page a but wow they had fun. The photos of the 4 boys together we had them standing on a crate. I cherish these photos as will my nephews as its a great one of them having a blast of fun with their dad and uncle.

I filmed a video whilst making this page - I sped it up and have added some details in a voiceover for you as there's a few little tips and tricks associated with this page you might like.

I have been binge watching Lisa Oxley do her journals on YouTube and this page was definitely a 'lets try this' style of page for me. I am loving how it turned out and think there will be more like it to come. I had a few copies of these photos and could print more if needed so wasn't scared to experiment.
Now lets hop on over to see what Lisa has done with her page.

From all the team we say thank you for visiting

Stampin' Up! Holly Jolly Christmas Santa

Santa is watching!
Eilish has been hanging in my creative space again and it is always a pleasure to have her create with me. She loves this set and I know this won't be the last card she makes using it.

The images were stamped on Whisper White so that the colour comes up brighter and Santa's suit fur and beard looked right. The Bricks were coloured the same way as they were HERE using the sponge brayer on the embossing folder.

Eilish pulled from a huge stash of supplies for this card - any questions about techniques or the like please pop a comment below and  I will reply there for you.
