Welcome to this months hop with the Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! We have great year of hop themes we have planned for you so say hello to February the month of love! You are welcome to join us each month, you could even share your layouts. If your not a member already please feel free to join us on our Facebook Group HERE. This months theme is a all about Love and Marriage - now as much as I'd love to scrap my whole wedding album - that isn't happening LOL.
So this page came about after I was ratting about in my box of photos to scrap - It fits the theme because we were at a wedding! In the photo I have my Sister in Law and we are with our hubby's (we are married to brothers) Grandparents. Nan and Pop - were married 56 years before we lost Nan recently.
I pulled framelits from a heap of my new sets chopped them all out of whisper white cardstock to decide how I wanted to play with it.
The heart is embossed so that the white colour stood out against the DSP.
I used Touches of Texture for the stamping around the heart.
I have clustered all my elements together to add interest and texture - I hope you like it. The script love word is one from my stash and I have actually embossed it to make it silver.
So without further ado lets hop on over to see what Liz has to share with us.
This is my list of goodies - but really if you want to make your own you can easily make do with what you have on hand that goes with your photos. I masked off the heart with one I cut from a A4 scrap that the printer dot its test dot thing on - fold it in half draw half a heart and cut it out - open it up and tack it down gently with something that will not trash your DSP when you remove it.
