Welcome to this weeks CASEing the Catty! The Crew is CASEing the colours of Stampin' Up! Wildly Flowering DSP found on pages 40 - 41 of the Annual Catalogue. Let me say I love this palette - Wild Wheat, Mossy Meadow, Misty Moonlight, Moody Mauve, Early Espresso & Crumb Cake.
Let us chat about this card and the techniques I have used. So, on my flowers, before I stamped them onto my card I dappled the edges with my Wild Wheat blending brush. The leaves had the same thing done to them - inked up with Mosey Meadow then highlights added with the blending brush in Early Espresso before stamping onto my card stock.
The bottom half of my Basic White card front has been embossed. The Bakers Twine has had all its fibers split for something different.
The bluey-green leaves that look like they are from a Gum Tree - those were made using the dies - the cardstock I started with was Basic White but I blended Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, and Wild Wheat randomly over it before cutting.
I had extra pieces that I cut so I used those on my inside.
