Scrapbooking Christmas with a Tic Tac Toe Board - Scrapbooking Global November 2024 Blog Hop

I'm back! And what a fabulous time to get my scrapping mojo back with a fabulous challenge this month. Sherry Roth is the Creative Design Team Member who chose the Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Blog Hop - Nov 21st, 2024 theme and I love it..
This Tic Tac Toe Board helped me choose my own adventure. Straight through the board from left to right of the top and middle row is where I found my groove. 

So here we have some close-up photos of some features - note the splatter - done using the brush tip of the markers and the lid to create a fin splatter around the title. Speaking of the title - note the 2 different fonts - I used the Alphabet A La Mode Dies and the Mini Alphabet Dies to create it. Cut in 2 different colours I then off set it to create the shadow feature.

The twine is 3 pieces of our Bakers twine from the Essentials pack coiled together to make it look like rope, glue dots are your friend when sticking it down. Tags and bells hide the glue dots well.

Stampin' Up! - Jazzing up sentiment sets with Court.

#CTC482 - Case a Shaker Card from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue 2024

  

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty! The Crew is CASEing a shaker card found on pages 122-123 from the Annual Catalogue. I love the idea of the circle card and the leaf embellishments. 

Basic card measurements and tools.

Stamp set / Bundle: Spotlight on Nature

• Card Base (A5) 29cm x 14.9cm scored at 10.5cm 
• Thoughtful Journey Front DSP: 10 cm x 14.4 cm
• Pretty Peacock Card - for die cut circle and for fussy cut leaves.
• Basic White inside: 10cm x 14.4cm
• Wink of Stella
• Ink: Memento and Pretty Peacock

The leaves were stamped in Memento, this was then left to dry whilst I did other parts of the card. I then coloured the leaves with Pretty Peacock ink using my Wink of Stella as a paint brush, the leaves are all sparkly. The circle cut from the DSP was adhered on the card base prior to setting up my shaker component.
