Four Seasons in the Month - Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop July 2021

Hi! I’m Courtenay an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from Australia. Welcome to my blog! Today is the Scrapbooking Global July 2021 Blog Hop. The design team and our guests are sharing our layouts created with the theme Four Seasons in mind. Our interpretations are all different so this hop is sure to be exciting and I am stoked as it fits perfectly into my Four Seasons in one month plans. So welcome to Winter in Australia with my wintery based page with a photo from our trip to Rovaniemi the Official home of Santa Claus.

Sharni is the creative owner of this theme and her page is beautiful - I hope she likes mine lol. So to create my page I have pulled out some retired goodies for this one because I don't have any current 'snow' stuff. I had been saving the Snowflake Sequins 'just in case' and I created myself a cut file like you see on Pinterest and this is the result.

I love Snow Globes and shaking them so thought yep a snow globe it is. Walking around Rovaniemi was like walking around in our own personal snow globe and an experience I can recommend it.

Things to note - the DSP I used is Beauty of The Earth and teamed it with the Basic White Globe (cut on a cutting machine) I also used the In Color Shimmer Vellum and retired silver foil.
The trees and background white is acrylic paint - if you are putting it on your stamps and stamping with it get it off the stamp before it dries and a fingernail brush is a great help to get it off.

Now lets pop on over to see what Jill has to share with us - I wonder if she has picked a season or doing all 4? Guess you need to go have a sticky.
